Trapped Water Damage Behind Walls

SERVPRO of LaGrange Park/North Riverside was called out to this water job due to an air conditioning unit that was leaking and trapped water behind the wall.  The home had bubbling drywall from all the trapped water, and also had water leaking down the wall on to the carpeting.  

Our crews arrived onsite and started the process of putting a hole in the wall to get the water out. Then in order to dry out the wall, we had to drill holes in the area the water was in order to dry out the wall.  Our customer was expecting this to be a much bigger mess, and was relieved that a few holes in his ceiling, and placing equipment to dry the area were all he needed to get his house back.
