Leaking Pipe

We received a called about water in carpeting, but the homeowner was unsure as to where the water was coming from.  SERVPRO of LaGrange Park/North Riverside arrived onsite and once we saw the pipe we saw water leaking from one of the joints.  We got into communication with the adjuster for this claim and let him know the full scope of the job.  Once we got permission we assisted the homeowner with getting a plumber onsite.  The plumber fixed the leak in the pipe and we followed behind to clean up. We extracted the wet carpet, pulled the wet areas up, cut out the wet drywall, and had set equipment. The homeowners were so thankful we were there to assist them in every way we could to get the water stopped.
