Water Damage on Stairs of an Office Building

SERVPRO of LaGrange Park/North Riverside received a called about water flowing down the stairs of an older office building.  When we arrived onsite we saw that 3 flights of stairs had water coming down them from an office unit that had a pipe leak from one of their restrooms.  

We first entered the office suite where the water started and followed behind their plumber extracting water, and removing damaged flooring and drywall.  

Then we began removing the carpeting on all the stairs in this office building.  Each floor had different carpeting and different structural items that we needed to be aware of to try to preserve.

At the end of the job the building owner was very happy with our work and the ability we had to save the historical pieces.
