Smoke Damaged Bathroom

This home had a fire from the hot water heater. The fire caused smoke damage in several areas of the house.  SERVPRO of LaGrange Park/North Riverside was called to this home to help with the clean up of the soot and smoke. This particular bathroom was in the basement and had soot and smoke on every surface.  Our crew had to come in and clean out the contents from the basement, remove areas of drywall that were too covered in soot for us to clean, and clean the areas that were soot covered.  

The homeowners were very reluctant at first, due to previous issues with another restoration experience in their home.  However, the homeowners gave the crew very high praise for the work in their home.
